“Vindauga” is a video installation consisting of three parts.
The word “Vindauga” comes from Old Norse, and is literally translated as “wind eye”. It is one of the first words which describes the concept of a window. The first window was not more than a hole in the roof of a cave where people could look at the sky, wandering about what is out there. The video installation “Vindauga” is mainly inspired on the idea of having a window into abstract, and imaginary landscapes. The three pieces consist of different approaches to display these abstract and imaginary worlds.
