Shifting Structures [2017]

Shifting Structures is a kinetic light installation in which balance and self correction become the start of a genererative composition. By shifting their centers of gravity, individual light units come into motion, constantly changing their relations to each other. Each unit carries a speaker, and translates the movements into sound.

From this seemingly chaotic proces a complex choreography reveals itself, constantly changing patterns forming a complex sound and light field.
